Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google is here in India. Sundar is expected to make a lot of announcements in the favor of PM’s Digital India campaign, growing Indian Startup Community and obsolete Indian Railway Platforms.

Google to bring in Foreign Investment for training Indian Developers on Android platform

Android, the most widely used Mobile Operating System is a product of Google. Google has been developing Android OS in collaboration with other contemporaries. The new announcement made by Google makes it clear that the Internet Giant will be looking forward to invest huge amount of money to train a pool of developers on Android Platform. Training developers on Android platform will help India emerge as the hub of Android Developers and web services led startups.

Sundar Pichai also expressed his happiness about the ease of doing business increasing in India and he also expressed his desire to see India getting a whole lot better.

Training Indian Developers on Android OS will help Indian emerge as the hub of Freelance Developers as well. World has already been turning to Indian engineers and developers for the development of responsive sites and e-commerce stores. One of the prime reasons Pichai cited for training developers in India for free is that India will soon be taking over US for the maximum number of Android users.

Google launches a 6-month accelerator to help startups build mobile products

Technology Giant is looking forward to help India emerge as the next hub of Startups. The efforts that Google is putting will help India and Indian startups climb up the ladder with great ease and grace.

Launchpad Accelerator from Google will be helping Startups from India, Brazil and Indonesia with the development of mobile-based products and apps. A lot of innovation will come through this accelerator in all these three countries. Pichai is here in India and he aims to help Asian countries emerge as the hub of technological advancements in the 21st Century.

Around 500 startups will be selected after measuring them on various calculators and parameters. The startups will be provided access to the varied expensive tools of the Google for free. Google will play an eminent role in helping these startups come up with their mobile-based apps or with new mobile-based technologies that will solve day-to-day problems. This program is bound to be called as the next Billion Dollar Project.

Google aims to help startups in two ways:

  1. By helping them build mobile-based applications by using resources from Google Inc.
  2. By providing startups with a fund of $250,000. Initially a sum of $50,000 will be shared as seed fund and as soon as the company plans to scale and shows promising growth the further funds will be allocated.
  3. Google will be providing all these facilities without asking for any equity
  4. Apart of everything, Google will also help these startups establish their headquarters and offices in varied countries most preferably in US. Google though looks forward to get credits for the applications they will be leveraging access to the startups with.

Mentorship is yet another aspect of this accelerator programs. If the reports are to be there are going to be sessions where successful techie entrepreneurs from around the world will be visiting the accelerator and sharing stories with the young guns. The young entrepreneurs will be leveraged access and exposure to hell lot of technologies Google is working on. Google aims to make the world better and it is because of the same reason it is allowing other startups to come together and help in solving the problems of the world.

Sundar Pichai met a lot of Cabinet rank Ministers on Wednesday and is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday in Delhi. The PM and President will be looking forward to warmly welcome the new CEO of Google. Google to Improve 100 Railway Platforms in India by enabling them with Wi-Fi and other technologies:

 This is one news that have been making rounds since the time Indian Prime Minster Narendra Modi visited Silicon Valley and met Sundar at the headquarters of US. Now Sundar is here in India and it is time for India and Google to seal the deals that have been finalized.

India looks forward to assistance from Google in improving the conditions of hundred important Railway Stations in India. The country is in dire need of Railway transformation. This announcement from Google is going to come as a disruptive move for this ripe sector.

Google will be enabling hundred stations in India with 24X7 Free Wi-Fi Connectivity. Google has also promised to leverage access of various other technologies for improving the conditions of Indian Railway Stations. The use of technologies will be made for controlling accidents and wastage of energy at varied levels.

This is a welcome move; Indian Diaspora have always wanted to do something for their country, Sundar is one of them and he is doing his part. Google is also planning to provide Internet access to women in rural areas with Google Cloud for free. This will promote entrepreneurship and also self-confidence among women from the remotest corners of the country.
